Is your child ready for the next step in being independent? What skills do they need if you leave them alone for an hour or two? All families will face the unexpected, how will you prepare your child to manage when the unexpected happens? Join this awesome group where parents and their children, ages 7 to 13, learn together through fun games, challenges, and hands-on activities! Some “adulting secrets” covered will include coping with fears, managing siblings, self-care tips such as fixing food, preparing for the unexpected, and how to stay connected. By the end of the time, your family will know the next steps to build independence skills like champions.
Age range: For parents and children 7 - 13 years
Dates: Saturday, February 7, 2026, register by Saturday, January 31, 2026 or
Saturday, May 2, 2026, register by Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
