Did you know all children learn through play? Do you want to get out of the house and connect with other families? This child-led group is for parents/caregivers and children, 0 – 5 years, who like to get messy, use their imaginations, and explore the world around them. During this group, we will provide weekly parenting topics, information on upcoming community programs and events, answer your questions about your child’s behaviour and development, as well as direct you to other community resources.
All families must complete a one-time annual registration prior to attending this program. Registration for this program DOES NOT guarantee you a spot on a particular day of the week. The Program will continue to be the Drop-In Format. Please register online or if needed, registration can still be completed at the program. Please ensure if you want a caregiver to attend with your child, you provide this permission on your registration form.
Caregivers MUST have written permission from the parent/guardian to attend the program with children in care. Please ensure the parent/guardian also completes a registration that includes caregiver permission prior to your arrival to this program.
This is a drop-in group. Families are asked to only attend once/week. First come, first served. Signs will be posted when room capacity is met.
Age range: For parents/caregivers and children 0 – 5 years
Dates: Mondays - Wednesdays, January 6 - June 30, 2025
(No programs, Mondays, February 17, April 21 & May 19, 2025)
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Cost: No cost (donations gratefully accepted)
