Programs
Did you know all children learn through play? Do you want to get out of the house and connect with other families? This child-led group is for parents/caregivers and children, 0 – 5 years, who like to get messy, use their imaginations, and explore the world around them. During this group, we will provide weekly parenting topics, information on upcoming community programs and events, answer your questions about your child’s behaviour and development, as well as direct you to other community resources. All families must complete a one-time annual registration prior to attending this program – see below.
Caregivers MUST have written permission from the parent/guardian to attend the program with children in care. Please ensure the parent/guardian also completes a registration that includes caregiver permission prior to your arrival to this program.
This is a drop-in group. Families are asked to only attend once/week. First come, first served. Signs will be posted when room capacity is met.
Age range: For parents/caregivers and children 0 – 5 years
Dates: Mondays - Wednesdays, September 9 – December 18, 2024,
Mondays - Wednesdays, January 6 - June 30, 2025
(No programs, Mondays, February 17, April 21 & May 19, 2025)
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Cost: No cost (donations gratefully accepted)
