Did you know children learn best through play and exploration?
Looking for a fun way to get outside, connect with other families, and enjoy nature together? Messy Play in the Park is an outdoor, child-led program for children ages 0-12 and their caregivers. Families are invited to explore sensory activities, creative art, water games, nature-based discovery, and hands-on experiences that encourage imagination, curiosity, and connection.
Each session offers opportunities for children to learn through movement, creativity, and play in a relaxed outdoor environment. Caregivers can connect with one another, learn about child development and parenting topics, discover upcoming community programs and events, and access support and resources for their family.
Dress for the weather and come ready to play, explore, and get messy!
How do I sign up?
All adults must complete an annual registration which will include information about each child who may attend the program with them. Please register online or if needed when you arrive at the Program.
What is a drop in?
Drop in for this program means you can choose one day each week to bring the family; space availability is on a first come first serve basis. Once the program has reached capacity, then the Program will be closed to additional participants for the day. PLAY IS FULL signs will be posted when the capacity is met.
Can someone else bring my child?
A caregiver or someone who is not the child’s parent can bring the child after the registration is completed, and consent provided by the parent. The caregiver will be asked to complete a registration for themselves at the door.
