“Garden & Grow” Messy Play on the Farm!

 
 
 

Did you know all children learn through play?  Do you want to connect with other families? Parents/caregivers attend with their children 0-17 years old. Messy Play on the Farm aims to bring people of all ages together to enjoy a day of outside fun in the Fall, allowing for families to grow stronger by building connections. Parents/ caregivers are encouraged to follow the lead of their children regardless of age, child led play encourages social and cognitive development, fosters independence, builds intrinsic motivation and supports resilience. During this group parent coaches provide parenting insights, resources, answer questions about child behaviour and development and offer information on upcoming community programs and events as well as connect you with Community Links Support Services.

 Activities are carefully chosen with stage of development and family diversity in mind.  In this open farm space, you will find areas for dramatic play, outdoor physical play, creative arts, sensory, development and challenges for all developing minds. 

How do I sign up?

All Parents/guardians/caregivers must complete a registration which will include information about each child who may attend the program this event with them.  Please register online prior to attending the Program. 

Can someone else bring my child?

A caregiver or someone who is not the child’s parent/ guardian can bring the child after the registration is completed, and consent provided by the parent/ guardian. The caregiver will be asked to complete a registration for themselves at the door.
