Roll Models: Dungeons & Dragons Group

(13- 17 years)

Do you want to develop a connection with your teen in a unique way?

Our Dungeons & Dragons group is for you and your teens ages 13-17 who are interested in connecting through something with a fantasy, nerdy, role play twist.

The “Dungeon Master” (game facilitator/ Parent Coach) will be guiding the group through an hour-long fantasy adventure where you and your teen will make choices based on your character’s personality. Dungeons & Dragons can be an excellent way for your teen and yourself to practice public speaking, advocating for your wants/needs, story telling, problem solving, critical thinking, and more – but in imaginary and risk-free scenarios.

Since you will be at the table playing with your teen – you will get to see how your teen handles responsibility, setbacks, leadership opportunities, how they learn, their intellectual weaknesses and emerging strengths, and more. The facilitator will be able to identify these characteristics to you, explain how they fit into child development, and give suggestions on how to further develop those skills at home.

No experience or knowledge necessary.  Pre-made characters, dice, and other materials
