Announcement from the Community Links Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Community Links is pleased to announce the appointment of Sara

Jordan as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective January 12, 2026.

As part of this transition, Brenda Hume will remain with Community Links through the end of

January to support a smooth and thorough handover of responsibilities.

Sara brings extensive senior leadership experience across community services, health, and

nonprofit organizations. Her background includes organizational renewal, financial sustainability,

strategic partnerships, and strengthening operations. She has successfully led complex

organizations and teams, working closely with Boards, staff, funders, and community partners to

deliver meaningful impact.

Throughout the selection process, the Board was particularly impressed by Sara’s values-based

leadership, her deep commitment to staff well-being, and her strong record in strategic planning,

financial stewardship, and service excellence. We are confident that her experience and vision

will support Community Links as we continue to evolve and respond to the changing needs of the

community.

We recognize that leadership transitions are important moments for any organization. Sara looks

forward to meeting the individuals, partners, and groups connected to Community Links. Her

early priorities will be to learn from our staff and stakeholders, understand our programs and

community needs, and support continuity and stability while we move forward together.

On behalf of the Board, we also extend our sincere appreciation to Brenda Hume for her years of

leadership and dedication. Brenda has contributed greatly to Community Links and to the people

we serve, and we are grateful for her commitment.
