Laces for Learning is a partnership between Community Links and the Kiwanis Club of Airdrie Foothills that helps ensure school-aged children and youth have appropriate footwear to participate safely and confidently in physical education classes.
The program provides access to proper athletic shoes for families experiencing financial barriers. This is a walk-in service, and Community Links’ Information and Referral staff will complete a brief eligibility screening to determine whether applicants qualify for the program.
By reducing financial barriers to appropriate footwear, Laces for Learning supports student participation, inclusion, physical well-being, and success at school.
